I had no idea that these guys have such beautiful colours, until I saw them in full sunlight. Enjoy

Cool pics Palo!  I passed by today as well looking for Wrens and Creepers and instead found something new to my list, the Common Grackle as you mentioned.  This is my best pic...I like the iridescence of this bird.

There sure were a lot of RWB's there and really everywhere.  It's like an invasion.

It's amazing how gently these birds will take food from your fingers!  Have also observed them being wonderful parents!  :)
