Does anyone know anything about a great gray near Cobourg?

Just saw a very brief post about a sighting no location given, I think the image was up on the Weather Network? I checked ebird canada this am no sighting report.

OntBirds posted a report of a Grey north of Peterborough on March 11:  http://www.mail-archive.com/birdalert@ontbirds.ca/msg29707.html?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed  This is reasonably close to Cobourg so it seems like a good guess for the source of those photos.

Might be tough to track it down now but at least it's closer than Ottawa!

p.s.  There's a report on ebird of one up at Jackson's Point. This is probably closer to Toronto than the one north of Peterborough.

Thanks guys. I also checked e-bird and I'd even considered the possibility that the bird seen up near Cavan (near Peterborough), was the one in the pictures. I guess I was just hoping there was one even closer to home.

I'll just continue to be patient and when my boys are big enough we'll track one of these beauties down.

Cheers
Tim

I'd be surprised if the Cobourg bird wasn't photographed somewhere near Cobourg.   There are a lot more of these around than are being reported.

Very few people, relatively speaking, use eBird or ONTBirds.
