Title: Turkey Vulture circling above Maplewood Park
Post by: Bird Brain on March 25, 2013, 11:49:48 AM
Hi everyone.  This morning at 10:30am, a Turkey Vulture was circling above Maplewood Park (East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.) then headed off in a NE direction.

Yes Jo-Anne, they are around.

I went to the community center on Cawthra Road just south of the QEW today, and just as I arrived ( at noon time) I was surprized to and thrilled to see 2 of then circling over the woods, only 40 feet above me!  what a sight.

Hi Bob.  Cool.   8)  Should be sighting lots of TV's at and near Riverwood Park soon - if they're not already there!  :)

Hi ostrich.  Please see my Maplewood Park thread from today (Saturday)!  :)  It's been a quiet month until this afternoon when the female flew across the front of my face!
