That's fantastic news! It must be a great feeling of reward for all the hard work put in by so many to make Cootes Paradise what it is today.

Growing up on Vancouver Island it just seamed normal to see Bald Eagles everywhere, when you were fishing they would often come and take small fish right out of your hand if you were very careful. It would sure be nice to see a few more of them around here. They are starting to become plentiful up around the Bruce Penninsula, but I still haven't seen one in the GTA.

patience. they'll come.
expect some to nest somewhere in the GTA in the next decade. in fact, i wouldn't be shocked if some nested at the Spit or near the Humber

If you can make the trip to Cootes Paradise to see the eagles it's well worth the trip. Excellent viewing.
