Title: Peregrine Falcon Downtown Toronto
Post by: Rotarran on March 25, 2013, 10:23:20 PM
I was told about a nesting couple at the Sheraton Hotel in front of City Hall and so I went to check it out.  Found one bird at the top of a black building directly behind the Sheraton.  Even with my 50x zoom I had a hard time getting good images but it is undoubtedly a Peregrine.

Just watched them flying by at eye level on the 30th floor of my office at the south end of the Eaton Centre looking north.  Made my day.

Great, now how much is it going to cost me to book a room at the Sheraton just to get a picture?

I have been in their rooms recently (didn't see the Peregrines unfortunately) but beware their windows are dirty so your shot might be compromised.
