Out to Major Mack and Woodbine area behind the Cdn Tire parking lot (north east corner) there is a pond which had a remarkable diverse population of ducks, a large number of Canada Geese, A few Mallards, a few pairs of Hooded Mergansgers both male and female, noted 1 male wood duck, Common Golden eyes, ring necked ducks, Gadwells. Could'nt get a real good look but some Scaups were also present not sure if they were Greater or Lesser. The woodbine By-pass borders the pond to the north which overlooks the pond but not sure if you can park on it.

Yep I saw all those except the Wood Duck. I was there yesterday around 5:15pm. I also saw Cackling Geese (pics in the ID thread) and a Great Blue Heron which flew East after about 10 minutes.
Edit: also saw a Green Winged Teal at Woodbine Bypass & Elgin Mills pond.
Edit #2: Just remembered I saw a Kingfisher as well at the MajMac & WB pond.

Just came back from the pond on the other side of this location (on the North East side) and saw a Sharp Shinned Hawk (noticably smaller than the Cooper's Hawk I saw a couple of weeks ago), some Bohemian Waxwings and a couple of Great Blue Herons. Surprisingly no ducks on the pond at that time.
