About 1:30pm between the rains,I spotted a Red-headed Woodpecker. Made the walk home in the rain worthwhile. I have seen a Red-headed Woodpecker their in 2003 and 2004 but this was by far the best sighting. I tried several photos(sorry Ive got a film camera). It moved within the park a few times. Note that much of what I see at Rosetta is moving through and rarely stays more then a day or two.
Rosetta McClain Memorial Gardens is located at Kingston Rd and Glen Everest Rd in Scarborough, one light east of Birchmount and Kingston Rd.

Hmmm... a RHWP was seen yesterday in the morning at Thickson for only about 1hr. I wonder if this one is going east to west - it's a strong east wind today.
