Spent much of the day at Leslie Spit in search of various species. I wasn't let down as I found several new species no doubt due to the start of migration.
Here are some of the highlights for me:
Eastern Phoebe:

Wow...You've hit the Mother Load! Great finds Rotarren! You captured all the beautiful colors on that Sapsucker. I guess I'll have to take some time of work to see these guys. Congrats man!

It was nice to meet you yesterday Rotarren. Great camera work.
Did you notice the spot in the north-western part of the Baselands where there were several (at least 6) motorcycle helmets strewn (abandoned?) over a fairly large area ? No-one to be seen. Perhaps a motorcycle birding convention ?

Thanks Palo. But you should've been there, they were everywhere. And it seems I missed at least 5 or 6 more that were there.

Sorry to top this one again but wanted to share this pic too. It is of Blue-Winged Teal...don't know how common they get, but I don't see them posted very often. May not be as fancy as some other ducks out there but Blue-Winged Teals are nice too :) I saw this fella on Saturday at the Leslie Spit in the bay
