Title: more evidence of spring on the river - nesting Ospreys
Post by: Khalli on April 08, 2013, 02:55:21 PM
Spring and nesting is in the air as the Ospreys get busy.

the male jumps out of the nest with his reward for his patience - a fresh piece of fish

Excellent catch and narration Khalli!  Where exactly was this?  They are gorgeous.

Most likely the Fountain Street Osprey's. I know they have returned. If it is those ones, we should be expecting Khalli to be posting some great fishing shots. Great spot for I/F and diving pictures.
But there are so many out that way it is hard to tell. Loads of Osprey on and around the Grand.
