Title: Col Sam Smith Park Tuesday April 9
Post by: Irene on April 09, 2013, 12:37:59 PM
This morning at CSS I saw many Golden Crowned Kinglets, Ring necked ducks by the marina, and lots and lots of tree swallows! I also think I saw a yellow bellied sapsucker (not sure need confirmation in the ID section)
Aslo two adult Black Crowned Night Herons and numerous Red Necked and Horned Grebes, unfortunately I did not see the Western Grebe.

Happy Birding
Irene

I wish I would have know you were there today. I was there from 7am - 11am.
I sat in the same spot all morning....sorry I missed seeing you.

My visits to the park are on a whim, some days I feel great and some days not so much, and now I'm waiting for my eye to heal (yes another surgery!) now you can really call me old eagle eyes LOL, as soon as I get the go ahead I will be back out in full force  after this week. I'm sorry I missed you too! I was kind of in the same spot too and focused on the tree swallows.
