Terrific shots! Love the Grackle, such beautiful colours. If I may, your Cormorant is actually double 'crested'. You're right about that Mockingbird down at Bluffer's, it's a real treat to listen to.

The Common Grackle photos turned out great. A proper caption to the Canada Goose nest with eggs would be a good thing, I am guessing the nest was abandon due to the chick feathers remaining?
Actually no I was walking by the nest and noted the mother was chasing off some other Geese that came too close and thats when I noticed the nest and took the photos and moved on
