It was a great winter for Owls.
Congrats to anyone who was able to get out over the winter and find any of them.
They really are amazing to see.
Now is the time for Spring Warblers and Songbirds, and Hummingbirds will keep me busy till September.
But I couldn't resist posting one more Great Gray.
I think this one has to be the last of the lot of GGO's here in Southern Ontario.
Found in Port Carling on the last day of April.

Wow a truly magnificent and majestic creature. I hope to one day be able to see one myself. In the movie The Big Year, this is the owl that the main protagonist has the most difficulty with. Wonderful pics!
