It had been almost three weeks since we visited Thickson’s Woods in Whitby. It took some serious searching in the canopy of pine trees put we did finally detected 3 owls perched near the top of one of the trees…one adult and the two owlets. The time of our sighting was at around 3:00pm, and the owls were in the top canopy of a pine tree on the southern edge of Thickson's Woods.
