As promised to a friend, I am posting them. This was so exciting as this was the first time I have ever seen this strange singing birds.
Trying to sneak up and not scare them, they are very skiddish:

Great shots I'm still looking for my first pic of one
Well there were about 1/2 a dozen down at Col. Sam Smith today, just have to listen for the R2 D2 sounds LOL that's what the sounded like to me. very strange and different bird sounds.

This might be my favourite bird because of its cool name, weird looks and Transformers sound effects lol. Love these guys..great pics too!! :D

Love the pics Irene - have only seen them once a couple of years ago. As my husband says - they seem to have their heads of backwards. Thanks for posting.
