Title: GBH flying by
Post by: Bird Brain on May 19, 2013, 09:21:11 PM
Hi everyone.  It was a pleasant surprise tonight at 8:41pm to see a Great Blue Heron flying past the livingroom window, heading SW.

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.

Just had one fly directly overhead and the regular is back on his (her?) watch at Oakbank Pond. Oakbank Pond is on Centre St. between Yonge and Bathurst in Thornhill. Also lots of Canada Goose families and red winged blackbirds there if anyone is interested (Watch your step!!) :)
