Title: Common Nighthawks-East Junction
Post by: BC on May 21, 2013, 11:43:39 PM
Leaving my workplace tonight, at 9:45 pm, I heard Common Nighthawks over the parking lot and adjacent commercial vacant lots. Judging from the frequency of the calls, there were likely a few birds. I watched the streetlights for a few minutes as, in the past, I've seen them hunting bugs attracted to the light. They turn up in the neighbourhood every year around this time.

The closest main intersection is Dupont and Symington. The exact spot is Adrian and Wiltshire.
