Hey !! it has been a while..
Starting last week my yard has been over run by Blue jays, 4 at the feeder at once along with the usual crowd, Red breasted nuthatches are still here. Cardinals visit in the early hours of the day and just as the darkness is falling..
Yesterday, while in Tiny township near Elmvale I was surprised to find a field full of crows. They were everywhere in the trees' on the ground, estimate 100 plus .. A little while on I spotted a Red Tailed Hawk & 6 Turkey vultures on fence post's overlooking the same fenced compound..
Today at work, a young Coopers hawk was hunting at Downsview airfield, it Perched for a while on the hanger directly above me then glided back towards the open field North behind the plant...
Today on the drive home there were many more Red Tailed Hawks than in the previous weeks.. I think I counted more than 10...
At Winston Churchill while exiting the 403, first a Sharp shinned hawk crossed the road and then a Red Tail attacked Talons first on another Red
Tail sitting atop a hydro pole .. That was pretty interesting..
