A dozen species of warbler at Ashbridges Bay this morning including several Wilson's, Parula, Tennessee and Blackpolls. Yellow-throated Vireo and Swainson's Thrush as well as several species of Flycatcher also in the park. A large flock of Cedar Waxwings as well.
3 Whimbrel low, calling, overhead; 6 Dunlin on the rocks and 4 Short-billed Dowitchers on the rocky outcrop at Col. Sam Smith this afternoon. Rusty Blackbirds near the parking lot. Several Cliff Swallows building nests above the School entrance.
The Whimbrel Watch is on until the 28th, out at the pole on the far SW point of the park.
