Title: What gift ideas for a person who loves all things OWL?
Post by: bronco on June 05, 2013, 06:17:22 PM
My daughter-in-law has developed a keen interest in Owls. For her upcoming birthday I would like to give her a gift the purchase of which will provide support for a person or organization that specifically works for the conservation and/or rehabilitation of Owls.

Any suggestions you would care to share will be very welcome.  :?:

Many thanks,

I did make a donation on behalf of daughter-in-law and I have now received:
(1) an invitation for 2 to visit the foundation this fall.
(2) a certificate with a photo of an rescued GHO chick that is being mentored by a resident GHO. The certificate provides a few details of the chick will be released this fall back to Cambridge where it was rescued.
(3) a notification which tells her that a donation was made on her behalf.
(4) a news letter.
(5) a personalized thank you note for me along with a tax receipt.

The first 3 were personalized with her name as the recipient and my name as the donor. All very tastefully done.

No hesitation on my part to recommend this to anyone.
