Today (Sunday, June 9) at Queensway Park (Just west of Royal York Rd.and just North of The Queensway, I observed an adult Bald Eagle. It came out of the southeast (from the direction of the mouth of Mimico Creek/Humber Bay) soared the in area for about 5-10 minutes then headed West, roughly following the Queensway. I'm used to seeing Bald Eagles in the Fall, but not often in late Spring/Summer. I will look for reports of other sightings of this bird.
