I was at the Cobourg Harbour this morning and there were 2 Brandt Geese in the south west corner of the harbour and these 3 birds that I am having some difficulty with identification. I would appreciate some assistance with these.
Thanks

Bird one is an American Pipit. Bird two is a Snow Bunting. Both birds are in winter plummage.
I'm not good on shorebirds, so I'll leave that for someone else.
Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Thank you very much Leslie, I appreciate your assistance:)

The shorebird in picture # 3 looks like a Pectoral Sandpiper to me.

Thanks very much for your assistance Dave, it's greatly appreciated:)

I could be wrong, but #3 looks like a least to me. How big was it?

thanks for your reply Joe,,it's hard to come up with a measurement but, it wasnt very big at all.

#3 looks like a Pectoral to me. The markings & leg colour look okay for a Least, but the head looks too small in relation to the rest of the body. That suggests a larger bird: Pectoral.
