Cow Moose from Algonquin Park


Thanks to a friend of mine for jamming my big butt into a canoe and paddling me out to see these pretty girls.

Great pics!  I've still yet to have a good view of a Moose, even with a number of Algonquin trips under my belt the last number of years.  One day...

Where in Algonquin did you go ?

Thanks Rob, it's amazing how hard they are to shoot when you do see them. But with your luck I am sure you'll get one soon.

No Loons though, we just went up for Moose

I think, just guessing, that only males have the dewlap hanging off the neck.
