Title: dead waterfowl

there have been some postings lately on Ontbirds about dead waterfowl, esp. loons, perhaps as the result of avian botulism

today on the beach on the east side of Petticoat Creek CA in Pickering I observed 6 dead common loons, one dead long-tailed duck, and one dead red-necked grebe
