After a couple of hours in High Park with the GTRW gang, I returned home to do some yard work. Plenty of Red Tails coming through ... until 3:20, when a large black speck appeared on my eastern horizon ... First golden eagle of the Fall, a lone juvenile soaring due west at 3:20 pm. I figure it probably crossed Hawk Hill at about 3-3:10 (I'm about 2 km west of High Park). Did anyone at Hawk Hill spot this one .. or any others?
