Hard to believe it's been thirty years since Dave Winfield got off scott (er..gull?) free:

and I propose the Bluejays be renamed the Seagulls because they're getting killed by everybody!

30 years! Has it been that long? What an embarrassment it was for the city of TO.

And Dave was a pretty good sport too, even helped us win a World Series (I think?). :)

Btw, when the cops went to arrest him Billy Martin was surprised 'cause he said that was the only time all year that Dave hit the cutoff man!!

Well in his defence...he wasn't TRYING to hit the gull....that was the problem...
