The introduction of the all new Zeiss Terra ED 8x42 & 10x42, bring to birders the first time a pair of affordable binoculars from the three best sports optics companies, namely Leica, Swarovski and Zeiss.  With the price of over $2,100 - 2,500 in order to enjoy the best what the world has to offer, Zeiss breaks the tradition by offering a consumer friendly pair below the previous average of $1,000 level.

Having received the delivery from Pelee Wings Nature Store a pair of Zeiss Terra 8x42, it proves not to disappoint even against the trusted Zeiss Dialyst 10x40 that was purchased 30 years ago.  The Canadian price is $389 plus shipping of $12, but currently with a Zeiss rebate of $20 plus a free Zeiss carrying case, it is definitely worth its money as one's main pair or as a second pair for a different magnification.  Please read the following description and 3 reviews below:
