Title: Sandhill Cranes Spotted in the Kawarthas
Post by: cosmo3667 on August 19, 2013, 08:32:15 AM
While returning from 4 mile lake looking for Loons to photograph I thought I saw a pair of sandhill Cranes fly over the road I was on. The next morning I returned once again to the area and while driving spotted some wild turkeys in a farmers field and then spotted and confirmed my sightings from the night before. I found my way into the field to get a closer look. they are just outside of the Hamlet of Burnt River. Pictures posted in the Ontario birds section
