The birding was slower this morning than you hope for in the middle of May, but warblers were a lot more plentiful than last weekend.
I found 12 species of warbler at "the bowl" this morning. That was the only place I found with significant warbler activity. Best birds were Parula and Tennessee. Yellow-rumps were by far the most common species.
Other birds were generally scarce. I found just one vireo (Warbling), one empidonax flycatcher (probably Least), and no thrushes at all.
