I was at the computer just before noon when I noticed a large bird outside, reflected in a photo. We're close to Yonge and Bloor, eighteen floors up and we see a lot of Red-tailed Hawks. I went out on the balcony and leaned over to check the edge of the roof. Nothing. I craned my neck back and, directly overhead within six feet of me, saw the underside of a preening hawk. It didn't take long for it to spot me. After the initial surprise and a brief mutual stare it flew off, dropping past me, in the direction of Ramsden Park. It was a juvenile bird.

Great story... thankfully it didn't "unload" in your direction before taking off :)
