Title: ross goose northeast scarbrough
Post by: gary yankech on September 28, 2013, 03:59:28 PM
A single white morph Ross Goose is present now in a small drainage pond- Staines Road, just north of Morningside/Neilson. It is with a single Trumpeter Swan, Double crested cormorant and a small group  of C. Geese.

Very interesting, I wonder if it's the same that was seen at Reesor Pond.

I thought of that too....this pond is not too far from the 407 Reesor pond. I went back today, but, it was gone, as with the Trumpeted Sawn, and Cormorant. I did see a Grebe,  but it was too far to id which one. I'm thinking pie-billed but not 100% sure.
