Lovely shots!
I find it interesting how many times the osprey photos on this site show they catching huge goldfish/carp. Are these fish so common now? Or are most of the photos from one badly-infested lake? It's interesting to ponder.

Well I figure that they're easier to see for the Osrpey as well. Low hanging fruit as it were. Not the greatest adaptation for the fish, that's for sure.
OP: By the way thanks for providing me with a new background for my computer. These shots are amazing!

That could be because they were all taken at the same location. :)
I guess they do look for colour. Witnessed once a juvenile lifting a painted turtle. Dropped it soon after realising his mistake.
