Working their way along the western headlands on this spectacular afternoon, two Snow Buntings, chattering away. They often gave a yank on the dried weeds poking up thru the rocks and ate the seeds that fell to the ground. On Friday there was a flock of over a dozen in the same area, as well as a group of 3 over near the paths on the south side. Shovellers and Bufflehead in the small marsh. Lots of Kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers, as well as Juncos and White-throated Sparrows. A Northern Mockingbird on Friday. 3 Orange Sulphurs along the 'Whimbrel' peninsula today.
