Try behind the houses, straight ahead and to your left as you disembark from the ferry and between the boarwalk and the paved path as you walk west or towards Centre Island. Be sure to listen for birds and go over to Snake Island and check it out.
SNAKE ISLAND - (from the Wards Island Ferry dock is 1 1/4 km)
After disembarking from the ferry on the Wards Island side turn right (west) on the paved path. Walk past the large wooden bridge (to Algonquin Island) over the lagoon on your right and continue straight ahead. You will next come to a wooden pedestrian bridge across the lagoon. This is the bridge to Snake Island.
PS
There is a map of the Islands on this side and the City side.
