I toured eastern GTA this morning and found a few interesting birds. The best one's were blue phase Snow Goose at Reesor Pond, Common Loon at Oshawa Harbour, Dunlin at Whitby Harbour (Pringle Creek) and Wild Turkeys at Cranberry Marsh (2 females and 2 juv. on the path two the south platform and 2 males and 2 females along Hall's Road). Also a great variety of ducks seen, particularly at Cranberry Marsh (Pintail, Shoveler, Green-winged Teal, Am. Wigeon, Ring-necked Duck, all three Mergansers, White-winged Scoter, Redhead, Greater Scaup).

Thomas just so you know I saw the Mottled duck at Reesor Pond pond yesterday Nov 19 around 10 am to 1030 when the thousands of Canada geese came in and block the viewing its a nice bird to see ..

I watched a male Wilson's Warbler in the cedars near the Hawk Watch on Hall's Road on Saturday 16th, in a small flock with Chickadees.
There is a lovely Red-bellied WP in the hardwoods at Lynde Shores - it may stay all winter with luck

Thanks and congratulations, see if I get the chance to get out that way again. I saw the Mottled Duck at Hillman Marsh some years ago.
