The three of us saw a Snowy Owl at Whitby Harbour at 1 pm . It was sitting on the rocks, which are across the channel from the end of the pier. It was quite alert and kept looking around. Shortly after, we noticed the hatch-year Bald Eagle. It was perched in a tree, across the water from the parking lot. It was missing some tail feathers. Other birds of note were a Great Blue Heron and a Greater Black-backed Gull.
