Title: CSSP Christmas Eve
Post by: Brian Bailey on December 25, 2013, 06:39:07 PM
I made a quick tour of Colonel Samuel Smith Park late yesterday afternoon and found all 3 of the species I was hoping for.  There was a first year Snowy Owl at the end of the East dock, a Northern Shrike on the north side of the harbour entrance, and the male Harlequin Duck was on the east side almost halfway to Rotary Park.

With less than 30 minutes of light, I would have been happy to find one of them.  All three was an early Christmas present!
