Title: BALD EAGLE HALTON HILLS NORTH
Post by: ruthbowes on December 07, 2007, 05:45:04 PM
I spotted a Bald Eagle on December 6, 2007 flying over my home. Sixth Line Halton Hills, just south of Ballinafad, east of Acton.  It was flying not more than 30 feet above my home, circling, at first I thought, what is a heron doing here, then I saw the white head and tail. It was exciting, magnificient. Any other spottings? :D

Would a sighting in 1993, of a juvenile on the shores of lake ontario just west of the mouth of cooksville creek count? I once read that there were 25 breeding pairs on the lake between Hamilton and Kingston. Its true...I read it.
