Title: Snow Owl Sighting
Post by: Dinusaur on January 18, 2014, 06:10:52 PM
Today I saw my first snow owl in the Downsview Park. There was also a Japanese lady with her scope and a camera. She is visiting her daughter in Toronto. She was genuinely excited and told me how lucky she was to see this magnificent bird during her stay. It was first for her too. I wanted to hang around a little longer; unfortunately people started coming into the park with their leash free dogs that started running around all over the park and drove the birds away farther south, out of my sight.

That's great!  They are such beautiful birds.  Thanks for sharing.

Oh and just for the record, it's Snowy Owl not Snow Owl.  :D
