Title: Great Backyard Bird Count 2014 Surprise

I recently received a reminder email from Cornell about the Great Backyard Bird Count, happening this year from February 14-17. For the past few years I've been participating with my son as a fun way to get him involved in birding. After the event I submitted a photo of him feeding a Chickadee at Lynde Shores into the photo contest. Not surprisingly it didn't win any prizes - hey the bird's not even in focus - but they did attach the photo to the email shown below! My son's reaction when I told him his little photo was probably sent to everyone who participated last year?  "Cool. Thanks Mom."

p.s. The rest of the email wouldn't fit in my screen grab but yes they did give me credit for the photo at the end.
