Hello

There is a White Throated Sparrow under the feeder this morning.

I haven't seen one in my yard since  spring 2005.

I put some seed in a tray for the junko's and I've had to dig it up three times already today. mucho snow :D

My Feeders have been very busy yesterday and today.

Title: White-throated Sparrrow and a Redpoll
Post by: Leslie Kinrys on December 16, 2007, 03:44:08 PM
Hi Napper,

I had a White-throated Sparrow at my feeders on Friday. Today, a male Common Redpoll was at the feeders along with the Cardinals, House Finches, Goldfinches, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Mourning Dove, and the Downy Woodpecker.

I live not too far from Downsview Park. I'll have to drop by and check the fields sometime. The snow has to stop eventually.
Title: American tree sparrows

I thought I spotted one during the storm last weekend.

Today, things were slow because of a Coopers lingering.. Things have picked up and now there is a group of American tree Sparrows under the feeder with the

Junko's and Doves.

Many blue jays about today as well.
