Title: Owl encounter
Post by: Napper on February 09, 2014, 09:51:52 PM
I was Outside  running the  dog about an  hour ago when an  Owl  made a really low fly bye...was it checking out the dog..

Dog was greeting next door neighbours. Needless to say el dogie was in the house within

a minute.

It was dark out  and Owl appeared all white underneath I won't speculate what type it was.

napper.  :?:   lots of bunnies around the area

I stepped outside this evening at 6:30 pm looking for my kid out with pooch.

It was almost dark, just enough light to spot an owl pop up behind a house and fly down the middle of our street.

Neighbour spotted it as well and  said it flew over a house and headed for 16 mile creek.

Again too tough to ID at night.  :(

Oh you don't have to be so coy with the ID...I'm sure it was another snowy....sigh....

Hey what very large predatory bird has white underside wing ? And it glides

Axeman!

First one could have been a Snowy.

The second one appeared dark on top. I wasn't being Coy!.

No Snowy's this week.

Ok, So there is still an owl in our area

Not a Snowy. Minutes ago I was outside just after bringin dog in the house. I went out to get a few logs for the fire when

I hear a twig break and all of sudden there is an owl flying circles in my front yard soundless 5 feet of the ground in front of me and at me.

Small body, Brown on top white underneath.   I dunno
