FYI- The Varied Thrush is still being seen at Guelph Lake on 30min or so intervals, and seems to be surviving the cold, hope the berry/apples last
FYI- The OPP were ticketing parked cars along the roadway today. There is really no where else to park as road to both dam and visitor centre are gated shut so be on the lookout for unmarked cars if you stop there, there were about 10 cars today, 6 of them being icefishermen out on the lake.

Thanks for the warning; hope to make the hour and quarter long drive each way soon to see a lifer.

Thanks to Dave's detailed direction I finally found the Thrush today. For 2 hours I and a few other birders watched her foraging for crab apples. There are still a few apples on the tree; she will probably be around for a little longer.

For anyone interested, the Varied Thrush was still showing nicely on Tuesday February 25th.
Walter :)
