Beautiful series. Where did you find them? There are at least three lifers for me in this series.

Nice series! The bright sunlight really makes them pop. Judging by the sharpness and the viewing angle, it looks like most of them were quite close to shore.

Excellent photos!
I have never seen as many White-winged Scoters close to shore as this winter. I guess it has something to do with the cold temperatures and ice conditions.

All of these were either in the Whitby or Oshawa harbour. I had never seen the Scoters before, but the edge of the ice is close to the harbour entrance and that is where they seam to be hanging out.
