Today when coming back from Hamilton I spent about half an hour at Bronte Harbour. I am glad that I did. I saw the King Eider taking a snooze on ice, may be about 100 ft. from we were standing at the end of the pier and occasionally standing up to check things out. I couldn't stay long to see him taking a swim; however, the light was good enough to get some recognizable shots even at that distance.
