Title: Red Winged Blackbirds are here
Post by: Jon on March 10, 2014, 12:25:50 PM
I wasn't sure if this was best posted in the migration report thread or this one but I saw three RWBB's on Friday, February 7 around 6pm at the south end of Georgetown and haven't seen them since. Spring is trying really hard to arrive!

Thanks for the correction. I did mean March, not February. I knew there was a reason why there is a preview post button.

Noted Red-winged Blackbirds calling at Humber Bay Park on March 11th.  Also there, a Killdeer calling as it flew overhead.

This Morning at 9:30 am there be a large group of Red winged Blackbirds at Dowsview park and airport.

At home yesterday a large noisy mixed group of Robins, waxwings hanging about. They might be

our winter hold overs.
