Post by: JW Mills on March 11, 2014, 07:42:48 PM
After checking out the Snowy we were heading back to the car and spotted 3 RWBB's high in a tree south of the parking lot.

I heard a Red-winged Blackbird and a Killdeer att J.C. Saddington Park in Mississauga this afternoon. Nice to get some spring-like weather, even if it's only temporary.

Heard and saw RWBB at Staines Pond.  Was looking for the reported Cackling Geese but no luck.  I do think I witnessed a Tunrda Swan flyover (going north) which I video-taped but not sure on the ID.  It's just when they vocalized, they did not sound like Trumpeters...definitely more like Tundras.  But the images I shot were not detailed enough to get a good look at the yellow eye patch.
