A great little birding site right in the heart of Toronto has seen me return several times. The outflow of the gas plant there attracts alot of different species of waterfowl due to the water remaining icefree most of the time. On my last visit on Monday I noted 2 Peregrine Falcons "Peter & Angela"  2 Mute Swans, a large assortment of Mallards, Male and female Common Goldeneye's many of the males doing the matting dance to attract the females present. Longtails, Greater Scaups M&F. Red Breasted Mergansers M&F White winged Scoter M&F cleaning the bottom almost on every dive of Zebra Mussels, A resident red Tailed Hawk is in the area and gets the attention of everyone when it flies overhead. Redheads M&F. Some pictures in the Ontario Birds section
