The heavily barred Snowy Owl was in her usual spot on the wharf at Sam Smith this afternoon. There is a Ring-necked Duck in the open water where the boats are tied up for winter. Lots of Robins. No sign of grebes or the Harlequin on a very windy day with slushy footpaths and bright sunshine. Lots of winter ducks in all the bays.
At Humber East, two Ruddy Ducks to the southeast in a bay.Three Green-winged Teal, beside the bridge, sitting on the ice. A Northern Mockingbird as well, and a singing Cardinal.
