Title: Wild turkeys at bird feeders
Post by: bobolink on March 16, 2014, 08:48:03 AM
Wild turkeys have been spotted feeding recently at our friends' bird feeder in Annan. (Near Owen Sound). I have also seen some feeding at the edge of someone's driveway nearby. There seem to be large numbers of these birds about, though they are rather elusive.

I guess this year's harsh winter forcing them to find food wherever they can. Few weeks ago I was at Halls Road and was literally mobbed by a bunch of hungry wild turkeys; they were hoping to get some sunflower seeds.
