Title: Evening Grosbeaks
Post by: MEGHAN on March 29, 2014, 01:35:58 PM: I was lucky enough to be able to photograph these birds the other day. A new bird for me as this was the first time I have ever seen them.

This was the first time I have ever seen these birds, lucky you to have had them most winters. Thanks for your compliment.

Well now you have and you did great with your shots :D . Rose breasted is on my list to see this Spring.

Thanks Brian, I think the females are just as pretty as the males. So subtle in their color but the feather detail is so nice. and the markings are just lovely.. But you are right, most folks prefer to photograph the males, not too many pics of the girls around. The boys shouldn't get all the attention! :)
